Organizational Charts Organizational charts provide a graphical representation of ZIB's structure.
Law The Konrad-Zuse-Zentrum für Informationstechnik Berlin is a non-university research institute of the state of Berlin. ZIB was founded on July 17, 1984 by the "Gesetz über das Zentrum für Informationstechnik (ZInfG)" as an institution incorporated under public law.

Administrative Board The Administrative Board decides upon important issues as well as on matters relating to the planning and organization of ZIB.
Scientific Advisory Board The Scientific Advisory Board gives advice in scientific and technical matters and provides support for the work carried out at ZIB. Moreover, the members of the scientific advisory board serve as ombudsmen for consultation in conflicts according to the "rules to ensure good scientific practice".

Staff Council The Staff Council represents the interests of ZIB's employees. Certain aspects of work at ZIB have been settled by internal agreements between Management and the Staff Council.
Konrad-Zuse Fellows ZIB may appoint few selected scientists from its areas of research as Konrad-Zuse Fellows with the aim of establishing cooperation in joint projects.
